Zeta Transus: Custom Instruments
Custom metal 3D-printed instrument parts for guitars, synths, racks, and more...
If you can imagine it, we can build it.

Rock out in style with high-tech manufactured custom parts
How does it work? Let us know what you want and we’ll make it happen. Do you want your band logo on your guitar machine heads? Do you want your initials embossed in titanium on your synth rack knobs? Building a DIY Eurorack or modular synth?
Every metal part we manufacture starts out as microscopic powder as small as 15 microns. Using a high power-density laser, we melt and fuse these metallic powders together. The process starts by slicing the 3D CAD file data into layers.
Anything is possible with metal 3D-printing (additive manufacturing) and we’re here to help you rock out in style.
What materials do we use?
Whether you play metal or smooth jazz, choosing the right material for your custom instrument parts is essential. Here’s a little bit of info about the three main metals we use.
Titanium
Stronger than steel and light as a feather, titanium is an excellent material to make your custom instrument parts out of.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is similar in strength to titanium and can has been a widely used in 3D printing. Stainless steel has a high-temperature gradient and fast rate of solidification which results in fantastic mechanical properties.
Aluminum
Aluminum is cheaper than Titanium and Stainless Steel, is extremely light, and can be used for many applications.
